With new management and the launching of the Edge Lounge, Hotel Tower is definitely a brighter spot at nights. This new hang-out spot promises great décor, well- mixed music, a cool atmosphere and prices to please everyone (maybe except the door price). This well secured lounge has been eagerly welcomed and well supported by Guyanese since its opening. A strict dress code and no- smoking policy is also implemented in order to exude a classy and comfortable façade for your enjoyment. However, some patrons can still be seen sporting caps and smoking downstairs, much to the displeasure of others. But, smokers beware because security will surely catch you and escort you to the upper ‘smoking’ level. As a people, even when we yearn for something up-scale and different we always manage to degrade it and it drag it right down to ground level with the rest. |
