Gialiani (Gee-ally-anny) real name Carlton Jevaun Washington
was born January 20, 1985. He went to school in Guyana
and attended Bishop’s High School and the School Of Nations
where he graduated with 6 subjects at CXC. His interest in
rap/hip-hop music developed as he was growing up since

when his friends urged him on. He first did a piece at Kross Kolors
Recording Studio with some friends but the relationship was
short-lived and the song never made it anywhere. He then realized
that he needed to do things as a soloist. Gialiani’s future plans
involve music and he is looking to pursue that full time when it
becomes feasible. To simply put it in his words, “… I love my city
and I think it should be on the map. I want to put Guyana on the
map with hip hop music…” He maintains that hip hop music is
not just for an American society, as people the world over
relate to it. He believes that hip-hop music is his calling and is
passionately pursuing it. He has recorded 7 songs as of
January 12 2007 but only 2 have been released. He has 1
