Typheon who's real name isTypheon Abbensett was born 
December 8, 1988 her passion for singing emerged at the  
tender age of 8 years old when she saw the Spice Girls on TV. 
She knew from  then that she wanted to be in the music 
business. It was only until she was 14  years old that she 
realized her talent for singing and writing. She started  writing 
songs since then and began pursuing her career from there. 
She never  sang publicly as she was personally working on 
her vocals and material. Typheon  was host to the talent 
exhibition show on Ch. 4 for 6 months. Her hosting the show 
was more of a satisfying fulfillment rather than a job as it 
involved  encouraging Guyanese to come out and sing or 
perform the talent they had. Her  professional recording 
started when she was 17 years old and has recorded 1 
released and 4 unreleased songs, with many more to come. 

Currently she is  attending the University of Guyana and is 
studying Public Management. Even though her ultimate goal 
is to win GrammIES on the international scene she  believes 
having an education is very important to her development as 
a writer  and singer. While her music style is different for 
Guyana she has never-the-less gained a popularity  among the 
people of Guyana.
